Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt smoked the Patriots, on his way to a NFL-record 246 yards from scrimmage in his debut.

After fumbling on his first carry, Kareem Hunt scored three times and set an NFL mark in the 42-27 Thursday night NFL season opener. His 246 yards from scrimmage were the most by any player making his debut since the 1970 merger. Afterwards this is what Alex Smith had to say about his rookie running back. (quote below)

“To start on your first carry like that and have it go like that, it would be hard to overcome for a lot of guys,” quarterback Alex Smith said.
