The quarterback position is widely regarded as the most important in sports. Therefore, when evaluating team issues, the first question often revolves around the quarterback. Is he struggling? Is he playing well enough? When he's not performing up to par, concerns arise. However, it's essential to recognize that other factors can contribute to a quarterback's performance. For instance, coaching plays a crucial role, and if it hasn't been up to par, it becomes a factor. "Unless something miraculously changes, I don't see how anybody can pick the Eagles this week. I want to be an optimist, and I want to believe. If you've proven you're good enough, I'll pick you; I'll think you're going to win. Then there's the 2023 Philadelphia Eagles and you've got to show it now. Prove it to me, still believe you're a playoff team. I need time to change my mind on that. As a fan, you have to prove it. Now you're on 'prove it' mode before I pick you. Win, even if it's ugly; I may pick you the next week. In the playoffs, it's not a beauty contest. You didn't care in the regular season, let alone the playoffs. You're right."

That’s how you keep your job. So if you want to keep your job, you know, your job's on the line, just like everybody else's. Make sense? Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, Julio Jones, and Kenneth Gainwell look to end the regular season on the winning side. The Eagles defense of Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, James Bradberry and Fletcher Cox look to slow down Tyrod Taylor, Saquon Barkely, and WanDale Robinson. Darius Slay, DeVonta Smith, and D’Adnre Swift did not play against the Giants. AJ Brown left the game in the first half with an injury to his knee. Also, Jalen Hurts looks to have broken his finger in the first half. The Eagles are trailing at half time to the Giants 24-0. If this result holds up, and there is no reason to believe it won’t, the Eagles will travel to Tampa and face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next weekend.
